Private-public reintergration

I agree Fanatic. Private schools do recruit, & for that reason, should not integrate with UIL-sanctioned schools.

To speak to the concern that some public schools recruit--  I'm from a school not renown for football, & I would not point fingers at successful programs. Kids, often encouraged by their parents, move to schools with winning programs so that the athlete can be noticed by scouts/coaches who frequent winning programs' games. And, let's face it; everyone wants to be a winner. However, as FF pointed out, playing for one's home team is special.
