Think there is allready 2 players from this area that are coaching now. The  Kountze coach played at HJ and the coach at LCM played at Evadale , his sister is the girls coach at Buna

Not many people can say they played and coached at the State Tournament.  Definetly very fortunate.  Coach Foster is a heck of a guy as well.

Years ago, while still playing for LU, Kenyon Spears coached at some LU summer camps.  He was my kids' favorite, so I have to go with him.  Obviously he was a good player, but he also seemed to have a unique ability to communicate with the kids.

Jason Wilkes coaches at WOS, not LCM.

There are more than just two players from this area that coach teams here in Southeast Texas. Travis Williams played for Kountze and his assistants, James Collins and Ira Brooks, played for Silsbee. Asst. coach Clay Davis of HJ played for the Hawks. Ben West is another player who now coaches. Also Brian English, Zach Quinn, Jason Henry, and a few others all played here locally and now coach teams here in Southeast Texas.
