In 20-4A who will be your No 1 pitcher ?

Recommended Posts

Let's work our way through all the districts, starting with 20-4A who will be each team's No 1 pitcher when district starts?

Ozen
Nederland
Central
Little Cypress-Mauriceville
Port Neches-Groves
Vidor
Livingston
Lumberton

You would think Baylor signee Austin Stone of PNG would be lock for the Indians but who gets the pill for the other teams?

Corbin Bell - Lumberton

Bell is good.

The kid from Kelly that left Lumberton, is he returning to the Raiders?
Yep...Townsend.  They should make a good duo.

That's going to make the Raiders competitive for a playoff spot

The Bears are very young. Will have their work cut out for them to just get in the playoffs.
That was last year, this year too?
Nederland is a young team also they are all about 18 ;)

There is a kid coming up thru LCM's program that is going to be a monster.  Brandon Humphrey is 16 years old, over 6-foot tall and 200 lbs. He will not be a No.1 this year(just a soph.) but he has the size, the arm and a good work ethic. During preseason he is throwing in the mid 80's.  I watched him play some last year. He was playing on LCM's JV as a freshman.  He looked like a man among boys.  Still needs some polish.  Definitely a player to watch.

    • Why play in Rusk?   15 miles farther you guys could have played in Jacksonville at the Tomato Bowl
    • The freshman RB that was called up early is as others have described. If he chooses a solid path, he could easily be LP’s first 5 star. That’s saying something with the RB’s that have come through La Porte. There have been Olympic gold medalists, NFL players, and others. But, no 5 stars I’m aware of… Let’s hope he listens to solid role models, and realizes the opportunity he’s been given to use the talent he’s been gifted. On top of that, Barnes, Sandolph, and Bright are still there. Not sure how coach keeps them all happy spreading the ball around.
    • I just heard we spent $500 Million in Russia to study cats.  Anyone actually gullible enough to think that money actually went to study cats?!   SMH!
