Hupernikomen Posted January 9, 2011 Report Posted January 9, 2011 Is the qb who got hurt going to get to play this year? I had penciled in a Cleveland vs Silsbee regional final until he went down during football season. Can't ever count out HJ, but I still think these two meet up to decide who goes to Austin.
BLUEDOVE3 Posted January 9, 2011 Report Posted January 9, 2011 I think we should leave HJ out of the conversation this year for regional play. It's alreaqdy over for them, no matter what their history says ;D
BADSANTA Posted January 9, 2011 Report Posted January 9, 2011 I think HJ will upset Cleveland this year once again.

indian15/16 Posted January 10, 2011 Report Posted January 10, 2011 AAW, that is not confirmed yet. He is keeping his options open at this time. Most of it depends on his doctors. This is still a very good team, but depth will be an issue come playoff time. They really only go 6, sometimes 7 deep, depending in the matchups. One of the bench players receiving considerable minutes is a freshman, but he has played pretty well to this point. If the Indians take advantage of their post players and make their free throws, they will be very hard to beat. Even if Jamaul Ross were to come back, it would be a tall task to get in game shape and be a key contributor. ROLL...TRIBE...ROLL!
AggiesAreWe Posted January 10, 2011 Report Posted January 10, 2011 I am going off the info I got from his coach, his father, and Jammal himself. Was told he was working towards making sure his knee would be ready for fall football, SFA or McNeese I was told. They were not considering basketball at all. But that was back at the YMBL when I last heard this.
indian15/16 Posted January 10, 2011 Report Posted January 10, 2011 That info is all accurate. I think Jamaul just feels better thinking its a possibility. Football is his passion and I think he will rehab and train hard until fall as well. Hate it for that kid. Stuff like that should never happen to a senior. It's a shame.
bjimbo Posted January 10, 2011 Report Posted January 10, 2011 Rumor has it that cleveland had a handfull of athletes withdrawl from school this semester...a couple were very promising...is that accurate?
BADSANTA Posted January 11, 2011 Report Posted January 11, 2011 IMO Cleveland always has great athletes. I have seen times where kids quit, fail, or drop out. What's up with that? They should have been to state a few times in basketball and football.
indian15/16 Posted January 11, 2011 Report Posted January 11, 2011 All I know of about athletes withdrawing is one of our highly touted freshman transfered at the end of the semester to Liberty. His aunt that he lives with moved and that was that. I can tell you Liberty's football team just got better when he did.
