Why not?  Look at their schedule compared to anyone else in the top 12.  They've beat #1 Silsbee, #9 Memorial, #10 Vidor.  I think they are the best team in the area, that's why they got a #1 vote.  ::)

Depends on who you think "anybody" is. They've lost to #9 Central and lost then beat #8 LCM in the top 12.

Also did you consider the fact that that Ozen has lost to West Brook.....yes, WB who is not very good!!!

HJ also lost to #2 Nederland while you are counting teams in the Golden Triangle that the Hawks have lost to..........all of HJ's losses to SE Texas teams have also been on the road!!!!!!

I haven't seen any of the games, I was asked to be a pollster, I'd say I've watched the same amount of games as some others too.  I don't think it would have mattered if HJ played Nederland or Central at home, HJ got beat by 15 by both teams.

This is your's and LAZEEK's arguement, but I can tell you this, if you haven't seen a game this season like you said, you are the only one. I know for a fact that all the other pollsters have seen at least 1 game this season. ;)
