Look at their schedule compared to anyone else in the top 12. They've beat #1 Silsbee, #9 Memorial, #10 Vidor. I think they are the best team in the area, that's why they got a #1 vote. ::)

I don't think it would have mattered if HJ played Nederland or Central at home, HJ got beat by 15 by both teams.
