Grayson hit 11 of 18 3 pointers in the Hawks 109-59 win over Legacy tonight.  He had a total of 37 points to lead the Hawks in scoring.  He was also 4-5 from the FT line.  The previous school record was held by Chris Colbert with 10 threes and was held prior to that by current HJ Asst Coach Clay Davis with 9!!!!  HJ Freshman Zjori Bosha hit 8 in a game earlier this season as well.

Congrats again to the Sutherland family and to Grayson!!!!!!

[/quote]He's one of the two starters that has been injured since the first of the year.  Grayson has been back for 2 or 3 weeks... just in time to get his game on for district.  His outside shot is sorely needed by the Hawks.

Did you really just ask this question?? Trying to rain on a kids parade.  You don't stop playing and if they are giving open shots then you take them.  Also, it is fun to set records..............trust me if this was YOUR kid you wouldn't be asking.  You should be embarrassed for posting that.  Amazing!

on average a 3 point shot is a 33% shot which is equivalent to a 50% from 2 point

so which is worse taking a shot that is made a 1/3 of the time or 1/2 the time?
