Had Joey on facebook chat and was doing some chit chat...then I hit him with the question of whether he deleted his account, which has been met with silence.

Joey came back on, he is at work so couldn't answer me right away.  He really cited that, although he loved to do the broadcasting, it was really taking a toll on his relationship with his kid since a lot of those broadcasts on Friday and that was interfering with time with his son.  He did also mention previously that he has taken on some more responsibility at work recently which will decrease his ability to get away.

Is he done broadcasting completely?

At this time, it appears the answer is yes.

At the end of the day...he ditched us...I'm not upset that he left, just at the way he did...

He had commitments that he's breaking. It looks bad on us, but also on him..

I'm sure he'll regret this one day

I agree. I am just very surprised that he felt he needed to go as far as leaving the site totally and doing it in the manner that he did. I think it's totally unnecessary.

There seems to be a lot of unanswered questions in regards to this.

Mike, if you look on his facebook page, a certain response answers a lot of questions....and confirms some thoughts that you and I expressed on the matter.

.....................really all I have to say. It shocks me in a lot of ways yet then again it doesn't. If that is the case, you cannot have someone control you and tell everyone in the same breath you are happy. Doesn't work that way.

I could be totally wrong, but I see his deleting his account as an act of "See what I did for you, now are you happy? Will you now be satisfied and quit nagging me?"

Kind of reminds me sometimes how in a game of poker, a player is pot committed (put more than 1/2 of his chips in the pot on a hand) and has to go all in on a call knowing he probably doesn't have the winning hand.

I think Christian's response to his facebook post pretty much shows that you are dead on.

Why would he delete his whole account though if he just didn't want to or have time for broadcasts?

Read our prior posts on this thread.

He was "pot committed", had to go "all in". ;)
