Stevenash I also worked in the car industry for a few years. Made nice money but horrible hours! Your HJ coach might be able to out drive me. The name of the game is to get in in the hole with the least amount of swings. Driving is one. Putting is another. Keep that bet. I bet I can score better than all of you. How about that?

FYI never buy a nice car brand new. Certified Preowned is the way to go. Let some other sap pay that new car price. My dad use to own a Ron Carter dealership and schooled me on how to buy a car years ago. Some people do buy cars they know darn well they can't afford. If your car note is more than 600 a month, no matter what you mak,e your getting robbed. Finance it over 36-48 months  throw cash and a trade down as well. The guy who bought the Mercedes is driving to pick up chicks. He can't be married.

Ok, so you cant outdrive him.  Will just look forward to you finding me tomorrow night and making the arrangements for you and Mr. Owens to play Sleepy and Lazeek at the Beaumont Country Club in a best ball format following PGA rules for a total of $3000.  Are we on the same page?  Or was your last bet one that says you can score better than both Lazeek and Sleepy?  I dont mind more $ exposure if you believe you have a prayer on your own against the two of them.

Perhaps there are some that dont mind the first year depreciation.  Perhaps they value the use of a brand new car more than the economy of buying a used one.

Yea I worked as a Regional Rental Mgr for Enterprise Rent A Car for 7yrs and alway bought my cars from the lease department. Ill take a luxuary model car with 20k or less miles only a year old. Most are hit with a 1st year 10-15k lose in value. If you go new and don't drive much, lease is a better option. Yes, I can out play all of you. Mr. Owens may have to fly to Denver. If he does, I have someone to make up for him. This guy is better than him.

No problem.  Sleepy has an acquaintance who will fill in for Lazeek if Mr. Owens cant make it.  Lets tie up all loose ends tomorrow.

One last offer- If you believe that you can beat both Sleepy and Lazeek , why even involve Mr. Owens or the other guy?  If you want to make that bet against the two of them, I will cover you at a 3 to 2 rate.  Your $2000 against my $3000 that you cant beat both of them.  Since you sound so confident about your abilities, I would think this would appeal to you because you can make $3000 instead of $1500.

I am so amazed about this AAW.  Badsanta presents himself as a successful executive of a major corporation whose home is paid for and he is driving BMWs and yet he cannot pay you the $1000 debt.  I know he wins that much on the golf course virtually every week.  Its just amazing he has chosen to compromise his well established integrity over this.  Do you know something about him that I dont?

I see you have met Rocko before, no-look. ;) He is a sweetheart of a guy, but very dedicated to his job. Bif is just downright mean, really enjoys his job too much, if you know what I mean. ;)

[/quote]  I understand.  The reverse sandbaggers usually are making that effort to convince themselves as well as others.  I just dont understand how you can, on the one hand, portray yourself as a wildly successfull
business man and yet, at the same time, refuse to honor your obligations.  The two do not, never have, and never will go together.  I can promise you that he , in this case has far "over reversed himself" and you arent going to be the only one to whom he is indebted.  When It is nmy turn to contact Biff and Rocko,  I will make them an offer they definitely wont refuse.  When you talk to them, tell them you and I want a volume discount.
