Second would be last year's regional final game, won by Silsbee.I'll have to think some more on what my favorite game would be.

The '08 tiebreaker was at Lamar, won by HJ.
ST413 Posted January 14, 2011 Report Posted January 14, 2011 My favorite wasn't a win for the Tigers, it was more for the atmosphere. Last years Tiger loss at HJ when the chants were going back and forth between the fans. I still can remember the look on a player or twos face during that.
setxslam Posted January 14, 2011 Report Posted January 14, 2011 07 regionals, when Silsbee had us down 17, and we weren't worried. A tad concerned, maybe... That was my favorite game, of course, and certainly one of the best. Every HJ-Silsbee game is great.

And then HJ took a lead early in the 4th and was THIS CLOSE to closing the door when Jacoby Turner slipped while going for an open layup. That would have given us a 10 point lead and I think it would have been the last nail on the coffin. Sadly, we left the door open and Silsbee came back and beat us.Great game, though. Grady Walters (?) lit us up that day.

Grady, I believe, is Nick's dad. I used to do business with him when he had the grocery store in Silsbee.But Nick hit WAYYYY too many 3's that day against us.

If I'm off by a year, I figure I'm still ahead of the game.
