It's opening night in District 21-3A and it starts out with a big one as the Hardin-Jefferson Hawks, 22-4 on the season and ranked #10 in the latest 3A state polls, travel to the Tigers Den to take on the Silsbee Tigers, 19-2 on the season and ranked #7 in the latest 3A state polls.  Todd Sutherland's Hawks warmed up for this game with a 109-59 thrashing of Beaumont Legacy Christian, while Travis Williams' Tigers were last in action on Saturday, pasting Navasota 86-57.
