mmccary Posted January 20, 2011 Report Posted January 20, 2011 East Texas BBI think you are giving Woodville too much credit. They have been exposed the past two weeks, and SA will handle them in Woodville to take the 3rd spot!
east texas bb Posted January 20, 2011 Report Posted January 20, 2011 Sawolverine, you may be right. I thought after the CH game that they must have improved tremendously. I dont know that they will get in the playoffs now.
CHTechie Posted January 20, 2011 Report Posted January 20, 2011 Woodville must use different rulers than we do at CH! I know for a fact that #15 is 6-6. #25 aand #43 are 6-5 stanfing straight up. Yes they do appear smaller when they are in the defensive stance.Looking forward to Round 2 starting and of course the game in Woodville. It is going to be a great game if both teams bring their best game. But CH cannot overlook Woden Tuesday noght in Woden.
east texas bb Posted January 20, 2011 Report Posted January 20, 2011 CHTechie, you are right, I dont know where he is getting his height calculations. Ridiculous! Yes, should be a good game CH and Woden, CH has beat them twice and it is hard to beat someone at home and 3 times in a year. Should be a good game. I still think CH gets the win.
KHSAlum400 Posted January 20, 2011 Report Posted January 20, 2011 Are your progam heights listed usually a few inches taller than how tall a player really is? The COACHES have them listed at 6'5", 6'4" and 6'4". When I played, my program height was 5'10". I was near 5'9"I'm just saying. :-\
CHTechie Posted January 20, 2011 Report Posted January 20, 2011 I think the program info was turned last summer. The players are young and not through growing. #43 has gown at least two inches in the last 6 months. I can confirm this because i try to clothe and feed him! :D ;D
east texas bb Posted January 20, 2011 Report Posted January 20, 2011 SO you are arguing over one inch. That what she said. HaHa

HaHa[/quote]No argument at all "coach." It's easy to stretch facts on forums, but as the guy's parent said, their son is legit.
east texas bb Posted January 20, 2011 Report Posted January 20, 2011 Im not a CH coach. I know their coaches, great guys and great coaches. Then there is no argument, the kids are as tall as we said so we can stop talking about it?

Kountze will beat them, end of discussion. See you in the Quarterfinal Round of the playoffs. That's IF you don't lose to New Waverly first.
east texas bb Posted January 21, 2011 Report Posted January 21, 2011 It didnt know I was smiting you? I just think it is a funny word.
eagleswoodville#1 Posted January 21, 2011 Report Posted January 21, 2011 If you line up all of both of the districts i think 22-AA wins. 24AA has the two better teams. If kountze and CH line up, kountze wins. If woodville and east chambers line up, EC wins. If Woden and Anahuac line up, Woden wins. If hardin and SA line up, SA wins. If Buna and Newton line up, Newton wins. If CC and warren line up, CC wins. If Hemphill and Deweyville line up, Hemphill wins. So overall, i think 22AA beats them. 24AA has the two best teams out of both though. But overall, 22AA has the edge.
aTmfan06 Posted January 21, 2011 Author Report Posted January 21, 2011 Anahuac would beat Widen and Deweyville would beat Hemphill... your not giving Anahuac enough credit. They led Kountze 27 10 after 1... but lost by 10... They led EC all the first half... lost by 11...
east texas bb Posted January 21, 2011 Report Posted January 21, 2011 That is what I have been trying to tell you about basketball. A team that is down 17 in one quarter and comes back and wins bad is inconsistent and will get beat when someone controls the ball on them. I have seem it too many times this year on hear, Kountze is up 10, Kountze is down 10, Kountze is back up 8, now they have a 20 point lead. Kountze has not played a true ball contolled team and when they do they will be in trouble, I have seen it happen to them year after year.
NO-X Posted January 21, 2011 Report Posted January 21, 2011 Anahuac would beat Widen and Deweyville would beat Hemphill... your not giving Anahuac enough credit. They led Kountze 27 10 after 1... but lost by 10... They led EC all the first half... lost by 11... Im glad you said this UTfan.
trophyman Posted January 21, 2011 Report Posted January 21, 2011 if you could have tought those hard heads last year Kountze could have won it all shoulda coulda woulda i'm a big lion fan and have been for the last 45 years but if you can't control the attitude you can't win.

mmccary Posted January 21, 2011 Report Posted January 21, 2011 Anahuac beat SA with SA's top 3 players out at the first of the year... Anahuac is not that good...There are two good teams on 24 2A
alice Posted January 22, 2011 Report Posted January 22, 2011 Anahuac is a better team than most think, and have improved 1000% since the HJ tourney and pre -district. Don't count them out they were the same way last year and Coach West had them peaking at the end of season for playoffs and made a good run.
eagleswoodville#1 Posted January 22, 2011 Report Posted January 22, 2011 You could be right about Ananias beating woden. But I saw hemphill play tonight and watched deweyville play Warren Tuesday. Hemphill had a few decent athletes. Deweyville didn't really have any. I know they have had to do one of the hardest things in the world to do in burying a classmate. I know. I did it twice. But all outside stuff aside, hemphill is a scrappy team. It's a good game but Hemphill would pull away t the end.
Guest Cool-Breeze Posted January 22, 2011 Report Posted January 22, 2011 @east texas bbwhat is you're allegiance to CH? Because I know the whole forum would like to know since you love them so much.
east texas bb Posted January 22, 2011 Report Posted January 22, 2011 I simply like the way they play. I live 45 minutes from CH. There really is no other reason or I would say, that is one thing I have done on this site is speak my mind and not try to hide anything. Some people may not like what I say, but I speak my mind. I also like Woden just as much as CH. I talk about them as well. On a side note, there is a flu bug or stomach bug that is very contagious going around. If you see someone with it dont get around them. My wife got it last night about 6, my son got it about 11, and I had it this morning when I woke up. Just letting everyone know to be aware, it is highly contagious.
Guest Cool-Breeze Posted January 22, 2011 Report Posted January 22, 2011 That's what I thought, maybe you just like their old school ball control style of gameplay. And hope you and your family take care. Don't contaminate the district for playoffs lol
aTmfan06 Posted January 22, 2011 Author Report Posted January 22, 2011 Then CH could have a excuse if kountze met them in the playoffs lol:)
