Guest Two-Dogs... Posted January 18, 2011 Report Posted January 18, 2011 I doubt it. Lumberton is not a basketball school. Like most of 20-4a, they are a football school. That is where success or failure in competition will force staff changes. If they were to do well in roundball everyone would enjoy it and be very proud of the kids but once the run was over, no one would be down at the Admin building calling for any coaches job and pointing to past success. This year's team is really about on par with what Lumberton produces year in and year out on the hardwood. Here is last year's results for the Raiders. I am not trying to be mean or start anything, simply stating my opinion. Also I think Lumberton is looking deeper than record to judge success from the basketball coach. Maybe he is teaching some good things to a good group of young men. 8th Lumberton (2-12) Defeated: Lost to: Livingston Vidor Central Ozen PNG LCM Nederland ________________________________________ Vidor Livingston PNG Central Ozen LCM Nederland
aTmfan06 Posted January 18, 2011 Report Posted January 18, 2011 Lumberton just got good in football like 4 years ago... but yes they are putting more focus in football than basketball
