coachacola Posted January 20, 2011 Report Share Posted January 20, 2011 Pomeroy is predicting an easy 91-76 Lamar win. Pomeroy is also predicting Lamar will go 9-7 in conference play. In fact, the SLC is so bad that the conference rating has dropped to 27th out of 33. I think the SLC tourney winner will be the proud owner of a 16 seed in the NCAA tourney!Maybe Lamar can get lucky like in 2000 and win the SLC tourney, then with their .500 record they'll go to one of the play-in games and promptly blow a 10+ halftime lead and lose in the last minute to a Great West or America East Conference team.
