Maybe he sees that the talent pool is drying up and will not be able to duplicate the success he's had.  You know how it goes, win a couple of state championships and then follow that with 3-4 years of 7-3 or 8-2 with 1 or two playoff games and all of sudden you can't coach and your a bum!

Stony Point DC for Fredericksburg

Round Rock Stony Point defensive coordinator Lance Moffett has been recommended to at Fredericksburg according to the Fredericksburg Standard.

Moffett is a protege of Stony Point's highly successful defensive guru Craig Chessner, who has made Stony Point a perennial state power since moving over from being on the staff of David Aymond at North Shore.

Fredericksburg had a statewide search which narrowed to 10 finalists, which was dropped to eight after Daingerfield's Barry Bowman and Katy DC Gregg Miller withdrew eaerly.
