Prediction for 20-4A

One game left in the first half:
Livingston and Vidor are only one game behind the 3-3 tie of LCM, Central, and PNG.....so barring a melt-down by Nederland and Ozen, who do you predict will get the third and fourth spots for the playoffs?

I do know one thing.  In the second  half of district, I do know that both the # 1 and 2 teams in this district will have 2 more losses...

[/quote]It's true.  Both teams show flashes of greatness.  Then they look like crap the very next game.  Look at the scores... Then they struggle against teams they should be blowing away.  I think they will 'toy around' with these 3rd, 4th, and 5th place teams and will get upset a few times...

I wasn't implying that Nederland and Ozen will not suffer losses.....I predicted from the beginning that no team would go undefeated in district.....I just don't think they will lose enough games to slide out of 1st or 2nd.

JMO...This will be a wild race..Some teams that were ahead are slipping, while other teams are picking it up..There is really good balance across the dist. if you look at the scores. I say the veteran teams get it done in the end! Question is, who wants it the most?????????

[/quote]Your right.  Only because the 3rd through 5th place teams are not consistant either.  They'll probably beat on of the top tier teams and beat up on each other or get upset by one of the cellar dwellers...

I personally think it will come down to LCM Livingston and Central for the final 2 spots. But its still anyones race except Lumberton.

[/quote]I think 3rd place will be a battle between Central and Livingston.  I don't think LC-M Beat Central on out home court.  I see Livingston beating LC-M the second meeting.  I also see LC-M beating Vidor, PN-G, and Lumberton. I see Livingston and/or Central beating Nederland and/or Ozen in the second meeting.  It will be interesting to see who will win district thought.  Ozen will be ready for Nederland next time and won't allow a huge lead at the begining of the game.

I really dont remember the last time Central missed the playoffs.. ???  I think they will pull it together and beat the teams they are suppose to beat.
After that, It gets really interesting.. I thought from the start of the season it would be Ned, Central, Ozen, and LCM.. Im staying with that pick, but its wide open..
