If you guys have not figured it out yet this is just a Silsbee fan looking to start more junk on this board.  SP is a great player and should be considered one of the best in the area and likely will be the best next season, but DC is the best player in the area this year, no questions about it.

I would think that your team would have to win the game to be "1
up" - but apparently that's not important in your way of thinking.

Do you think Shawn is thinking like that?  Or would he rather have
won the game?  I believe I know his answer and I'm certain I know how the HJ coaching staff feels about it.  

And why all the hype about who is best?  It's a matter of opinion.  
Homers are going to support the home boy.

But I agree whole heartedly with those who are mentioning next year.  Shawn is going to be SOMETHING!!

[/quote]Both, I think.  The K. Smith from Ned is a huge part of them being undefeated in district.  Our K. Smith is accepting the roll of decoy to make team mates better and it's working as they have reeled off 4 straight wins...

      I like Newton’s chances here. I’ve watched  videos of Daingerfield what few I could get. Their big Qb scares me a little he looks Ike a good athlete. I think for a change Newton has a little more speed than the Tigers. That Samuel kid for Newton can move., and it goes without saying about Porter. That Hunter kid ain’t bad either. They scared me to death with their pass defense against Edgewood until I saw the video. That Qb for Edgewood can put it on a dime. And, his receivers could catch it. I’m pumped; this is the most fun time of the year for me. Go Eagles.🦅 I have to add this though. I watched the State game between the tigers and Yoe in 2010. Those guys looked like grown men playing as opposed to kids now a days who look like boys.😂 that was a heck of a good game.
