oiler#3 Posted January 25, 2011 Report Posted January 25, 2011 What do Yall think the Oilers can do next season?
football Posted January 25, 2011 Report Posted January 25, 2011 Same as last year. Same wins and same losses.
Joharr73 Posted January 29, 2011 Report Posted January 29, 2011 It really depends on a number of different factors. 1. What style of offense will Coach Henry run, if different from last year.2. Underclassmen that are coming up to Varsity, size & speed?3. Offensive line protection for the QB has to improve in the middle.4. Oilers lost a few of the main defensive studs, can those positions be filled with comparable talent? Here's who we lost:Moss - QB/DBWerner - DE/OLHarrington - TE/DEBurns - RB/LBClark - WR/LBCotton - OL/DLSpurgen - OL/DLBott - OL/DLCollier - WR/DBNot sure if this means anything, but next year will comprise the same team that the Oilers had 3 years ago that went undefeated in Junior High. I know there are huge differences, but I'm still intrigued.
oiler#3 Posted January 31, 2011 Author Report Posted January 31, 2011 From what i understand next year will have some portion changes and some bein moved up.here's what i got.QB- RidgeRB- Caruthers/ BrownTE- W. Patterson which means someone has to fill in at center. OLB- M. PattersonDon't have a whole lot on next years line besides Marcontell and big Ryan and Browning the WR will consist of Just Harrington Morgan Patterson Justin Kelly and Brown and Caruthers depending On who is running the ball
CodyLB34 Posted February 5, 2011 Report Posted February 5, 2011 How many starters do they have coming back O/D anyone know?
oiler#3 Posted February 5, 2011 Author Report Posted February 5, 2011 Offense starters returning: i think 6 or 7 defense starters returning: all but 3 or 4
oiler#3 Posted February 5, 2011 Author Report Posted February 5, 2011 Bobcat 55 i think it'll be really close and a hard fought game just like every year but as for a winner, right now i think its a toss up
H-D BOBCAT 55 Posted February 5, 2011 Report Posted February 5, 2011 H-D is losing Keith Gilmore, one of the best players in district last year. Overall H-D is gonna bring back most of their starters on both sides of the ball. H-D will be led by Marberry, Drake and Edmondson. I see H-D winning our 6th straight vs WH. Just my opinion.
