Spurger dropped out of poll, was #19 last week in 1A DII poll.

Silsbee has been #7 for nine consecutive weeks.  >:(

I know Goodrich beat Spurger but didnt Spurger beat Leggett and they are still 19.  Dont quite understand the rationale.  I guess thats what happens when you get a bunch of coaches voting on something!! LOL I think 3-4 teams in that district could be in the top 25 in the state. Leggett, Spurger, Goodrich and Burkville.  JMO

Silsbee can't move up because the coach think so highly of the other 6 teams. Cleveland will stumble like they always do in the playoffs.

HJ 11th like they are. They have 5 loses. That's why! Silsbee and HJ have played similar schedules ad the Tigers have more wins.

I would rank them right behind Silsbee. Really they should be ranked higher then Silsbee. We all know Hj had them beat, in Silsbee!!

They HAD them beat. But they didn't. Same thing with 4 other teams. They lost. That's why they are at 11 and not at 7 like Silsbee.

I don't think 11 is unfair, but they're a top-10 team... maybe 7th or 8th.  Look at their losses, three probable 4A playoff teams, one of the best 3A teams in the state in Silsbee (and they were in great position to win this one), and a 1-point loss to defending 1A state champs Cayuga (which they later avenged by 19).

Why is Nederland ranked #20? They were 19th for 3-4 weeks. All four of their losses r against 5A schools.
They've won at least 12 in a row...
