Have heard many times that the best is yet to come for Nederland.  Understand the 7-8-9 teams are where they have their highest expectations.

Like no other coach around(english). He substitutes his players constantly-especially at end of games when the game is on the line.
As far as talent goes for the next 4-5 years, just look how many games the JV and freshman teams have lost all year-3(that's both teams together)!!!!

U obviously don't remember what he did with Vidor talent-they went to playlets four years straight! Before then, NEVER!!! since he left, not ONE playoff appearance!!
Nederland had not made the playoff in 15 years until he arrived. Since then, 3 playoff trips, and (about to be) two straight district titles-enough said!!!

[/quote]Vidor did not make the playoffs 4 years straight.  The team that beat Ozen 3 times in 1 year made the playoffs and lost in the first round.

As far as the Nederland players, I DO know for a fact that at least 1 of the starters is from Port Arthur, Tx.  Didn't attend PAM, but was part of PA-ISD his whole life up untill high school...

I think, to some extent, that happens at a majority of schools in the area
