The ability of Mitchel to be able to score in the paint either with the short jumper or the drive and finish either direction opened up a lot of things for us last night.  Ozen's bigs were in foul trouble so Ozen's guards had to help out and close in the middle, opening up things for Fruge and Smith.  Also, Ozen had trouble with our zone defenses and wasn't able to score consistantly unless Trey Green created a shot for them.  The game plan that the Central coach put together really impressed me.  I just hope we can stay consistant and keep winning...

Central's seniors really showed up last night. Allen, Fruge, Fonteneaux, and Ferguson played really well knocking down open shots and playing excellent defense.

[/quote]Allen did a good job of battling tough with a kid that's about half a foot taller than him.  Ferguson came in and played excellent defense helping to force a few turnovers.

We used to beat them all the time  before Kendrick Perkins arrived, which was like in 2000.  We didn't beat them in 9 years after.  Beat them last year @ Ozen in OT.  Beat them again yesterday @ Central.
