Texas Relays

[Guest Two-Dogs...]

This year's Texas Relays are set to take place on April 6th - 9th. Any ideas on what local area athletes we might expect to see at this meet?

I know of two from PNG who will be working to qualify to compete this year. They are

[b]Hillary Coy [/b] - girls pole vault
[b]Dylan Richards [/b] - boys high jump

I would bet girls high jumper [b]Dominique Brannen [/b] from Ozen will also turn in her application to be there. Who else from Southeast Texas can we be looking for?

Reed-Sr-MHS finished 3rd in the state 110H
Holmes-Jr-Should finish in the top 10 in the state after gong 10.4 or 10.5 last season in the 100m
And all of MHS's relay teams will be in Austin, this is a very strong group and most are jr's. Be on the lookout for some early season sub 41s in the 4x100,  3:16s and 3:17s in the 4x400, 1:26 to 1:27 range in the 4x200.
They will be in Friendswood two weeks from friday(Feb.11). Where their will be FAT timing going on.
