BIGREDFAN2
Another disappointing loss. Somebody else made a career high score at Lamar expense.I thought I would post it here, to bump this poll thread to the top.
bigred360
Any one know any many times this year a player had a career night offensively against the Cardinals. It has to be at least 6 times this season.
LamarFanatic
atleast 6 how can the we be that bad in a down southland. could you imagine what would happen if we went to the wac with Roc as the head BB coach. ouch.
coachacola
If you throw out the sub-D1 games Roc has scheduled, he's only had 1 winning season out of 5. Throw in the fact that the SLC is one of the weakest conferences in the country then it's definitely time for him to go.
LamarFanatic
hey coach what is Rocs overall record if you subtract all the non d1 schools wins. cant be good i know he is 72-74 right now.

LUFAN
Lazeek and Coach who would you like to see LU try to go after?? I would like to look at BCG, Gottfried, or Lil Knight.. I say dream BIG....
bigred360
LU will have to open the wallet for those types of coaches. Honestly, I think it would be worth someone making 200K or more it they can get the program to where it was in the late 70 and early 80's. I remember reading at one point Lamar MBB was third in the state of Texas in attendance back then behind UT and UH.

Ruckdad
No he's not - He is totally in over his head - has been since he was handed the job. I would not be in favor of Pat Knight. I would look at assistants at over acheiving mid major programs. I can't hink of any names off the top of my head, but there are plenty out there that would jump at the chance to get a D-1 head job with the cahnce to coach in the WAC (if that happens). If the WAC move does happen I think that opens our search to guys like Gillespie - I would call guys that are assistants at major schools too. LUFAN
Lil Knight is not a Big 12 level coach.. He got in over his head to soon. He did not have the experience to coach at that level. I think he would be a good coach at the SLC or WAC level.

LUFAN
Its hard to get a great coach while we are in the SLC... I know that this is getting beat like a drum but a move to the WAC will open a lot of doors for us.... I sure hope we move to the WAC!l lol
TradinUp BH
A far reach, but these are some assistants I would go after to become head coach. Gib Arnold-USC, John Groce-Ohio St., Tony Jones-Tennessee, Derek Kellogg-Memphis, Mark Montgomery-Michigan St. This list may be too big for us, but since we're thinking big, I figured I would put the names out there. You might want to make some reccomendations that you actually know something about!!!! We need someone with Texas ties.
