Ruckdad
Here's a name Sleepy - he has Texas ties and is currently an assistant on a run and gun type team similar to what we try to run (unsuccesfuly) here.Melvin WatkinsDiscuss
bigred360
Recruiting, you need someone with Texas ties especially for a school like Lamar who isn't going to get 4 and 5 star basketball players from all over the country. We have one from Oregon and Illinois, 2 from Florida and 3 from California and look at our record. coachacola
You would think that after 20+ years Lamar would have by now stumbled blindly on a head coach that can win, but they can't even do that.

Guest mffl
Shoot, I don't care if it is a JUCO Head Coach who is a winner, as long as the man is A PROVEN WINNER!I could care less if our next coach WAS a big name but failed somewhere. I'm tired of seeing this program lose. Tidwell has a lot of contacts, so I am sure he knows someone who could bring some much needed success to our program.
