I heard Coach Tidwell the AD/WBB Head Coach at Lamar state there were several very good juniors in SE Texas. He couldn't mention any names but did say one was the daughter of a former Lamar star player in Ramona Jones.

Can someone name the top 3-4 juniors? Thanks.

My money is on Asia Booker~Ozen. Outstanding skill sets on both sides of the ball. Explosive first step and quickness. Fundamentally sound from years of proper teaching. Understands the game and extremely coachable.

Not sure if our town is close enough to be considered SE Texas but you could definately throw Bullard's Minta Spears in the mix. She is a scoring point guard for Bullard who will be a combo guard in college. Several D1 offers already. Coach Tidwell could tell you about her as I know he saw her play as a Freshman. I have never seen a kid work as hard as she does on her game. Great kid!

http://www.premierbasketballreport.com/index.cfm?load=page&page=75  has their list of top 25 Juniors.  They have Spears from Bullard at 25 and Shaw from BH at 23

Carrington seemed a little sluggish when I saw her last, but that may of been her leg.  When healthy she can play.  Booker is quick and any coach would want her.  Hopefully a few of these teams get some deep playoff runs and get more recognition to help them when they graduate next year and hopefully extend their career.

Joey Simmons' site and organization are really top notch.  But keep in mind that his ratings are of the players he and his scouts have SEEN and evaluated during summer exposure tourneys or at one of their evaluation camps.

Another good place to look is HoopGurlz:

Again to get into these rankings, you must have a profile set up and be seen by ESPN HoopGurlz scouts.  They almost exclusively go to summer events, not HS games.  Just FYI.  Booker is dang good, but IMO probably won't play a pure point in college...more like a Combo or shooting guard.
