A few LU posters made fun of it not too long ago. I guess we won't be hearing from them about how it's not that good of an achievement.  ::) ::)

Hey, I don't know if it is a great achievement or not. But, if there are only 27 public universities listed it must be pretty good.

The next step up is being a high research doctoral university so Lamar still has a ways to go, but Dr. Simmons has done wonders for Lamar.

It is a great achievement. The folks over in San Mucus can't say they're in it.
