Anahuac, Bridge City, Buna, Burkeville, Deweyville, Evadale, Hamshire-Fannett, Hardin-Jefferson, High Island, Kountze, Little Cypress-Mauriceville, Lumberton, Nederland, Newton, Orangefield, Port Arthur, Port Neches-Groves, Sabine Pass, Silsbee, West Hardin and West Orange-Cove ISDs have all closed school for Friday.

Also Galena Park ISD has closed school for tomorrow and their message seems to indicate that it includes all school related activities.

Port Arthur Memorial has postponed both the Boys and Girls basketball games against Channelview to Saturday at 1 p.m.  Boys in Channelview, girls in Port Arthur.

You can, but given the reason for the closure, I doubt they would.  The only factor that keeps it an unknown is that the precipitation is supposed to abate tomorrow afternoon which would make tomorrow evening (possibly) clear to resume a regular schedule.

I was told IF and I said IF the games for HJ and OF tomorrow night are cancelled then they will be made up Saturday with Girls Varsity at 2:00 and Boys Varsity at 3:30!!!!  No under levels will be played IF games are cancelled on Friday night for HJ and OF!!!!!

hjhawks posted on the girls forum that games HJ/OF girls will play Saturday at 3pm.  No JV games.
