tgwilie Posted February 8, 2011 Report Posted February 8, 2011 Elmer (Hot Dog) Thompson was indeed the Head Coach of the Bobcats when Gene Walker played.
pngfan66 Posted February 11, 2011 Report Posted February 11, 2011 I have my dad here who played for coach elmer hot dog thompson. He says to check out Thomas earl wallace. He played from 1952-56. Played full back, and was a passing full back at that. Said the QB had to give him the ball and he would pass it for him. So my dad played in those years. If someone has a question shoot it to me and I will ask him and post his reply for you.

Ask your dad about the pride he feels inside regarding playing for H-D. Also ask him who was the best player or team he played against. Thanks.
