coachacola Posted February 2, 2011 Report Posted February 2, 2011 He's 6-5, 345 lbs. Originally signed with USC. Played at Navarro and had given a verbal to UH. 3 star player, big pickup for Lamar! (tip of the hat to bigredinsider.com)http://newmexico.scout.com/a.z?s=203&p=8&c=1&nid=5245187&pg=2

Guest mffl Posted February 2, 2011 Report Posted February 2, 2011 Like the blog says, he was barely short of an associates degree, which he needed at the end of the fall semester to transfer to U of H. I'm sure he can pass a class or 2 at juco before coming here.
JJWooten Posted February 2, 2011 Report Posted February 2, 2011 We'll see by next fall. Either way, he looks like a great pick-up. Highly rated out of HS and played great at the JuCo level.
NorthoftheBorder Posted February 2, 2011 Report Posted February 2, 2011 The Chronicle is reporting that Campbell was "the big one that got away" in the UH recruiting class.
