Anahuac has a good team and will do good in play-offs.

Kountze will more than likely be out of the rankings next week after last night's loss to Anahuac. Hopefully Anahuac can pull of the win at EC next Friday and create 3-way tie for 1st!  ;D ;D

Warren had simms, Deweyville had Bland, Hardin had Marsh, EC had thomas and mcdonald, and of course kountze was kountze. This yr this district is actually weak its just the top 3 teams are really even, and Anahuac had their athletes.

Anahuac had Larry Rivon and Mayes that year.Every club in the district that year was capable of beating each other

I wouldn't say they were capable of beating each other.. It was Kountze and EC at the top and then every other team could compete for 3rd place.

Warren ,Hardin ,Deweyville and Anahuac split .Hardin beat Kountze and EC.Warren played EC within 4 at EC.There were some very good teams in the district that year and they beat each other up on a regular basis.

Wait Kountze won state that year and didn't lose to Hardin... the next year they did lose Hardin though.

while tramain and vmac were in high school, EC only lost to kountze in district.. after they left they probably lost
