Guest TravelingBandsman
I understand completely now. So, since Nederland will probably be in the 3 placed teams for playoffs, and since they have the highest enrollment of the 3, then they are Division I. Not confused anymore. NedDog
You got it. And just for the record, we are not a lock for 3rd place. I have a feeling Lumberton will pose quite a problem for us.
Guest TravelingBandsman
If Ned was knocked out, then wouldn't it be PN-G. If that happens, who has Division I then.
KFDM COOP
If Nederland was knocked out it would be LCM.
Guest TravelingBandsman
Then if the 3 placed teams were Dayton, Beaumont Central, and Little Cypress-Mauriceville, I looked up the enrollment numbers. Beaumont Central has the most out of the 3 so then they'd go to Division I
KFDM COOP
Yea the team with the highest numbers would go D1.

District Enr. Beaumont Central 1406.5 Beaumont Ozen 1499.5 Dayton 1439.5 Lumberton 1011 Nederland 1471 Orange Little Cypress-Mauriceville 1170 Port Neches-Groves 1475 Vidor 1425
77
Looks like in a couple years LCM will be the smallest in the district, with the way Lumberton is growing.

Guest TravelingBandsman
What website has the up to date enrollment numbers for school districts.
SETEXFan
The UIL website has the enrollment figures that went into them last year. Those figures are used for the next two years. Dayton is down about 100 kids from this figure from what I understand but taht does not matter. These numbers will be used regardless.
Guest Luv Ya Blue
I hope Nederland stays down.
Guest TravelingBandsman
Oh man. Dayton is gonna be getting these new plants from different businesses built on our outskirts, that's gonna bring a massive influx of people to this area, plus alot of tax dollars to our school district. If we already have 1439, then after all that happens, hell, we might as well go into 5A.
bh89-2
Your so RIGHT BHFAN' date=',,they DID say that didn't they? YOUR NEW district said the SAME THING about YALL! So here we sit...smiling our little booties off because BOTH TEAMS PROVED THEM WRONG! Gotta LOVE the game of football and also for going in being the "underdogs"! SWWEEEEEEEETTTTT! [/quote'] Purplepride......thanks for your and Bonco1 strong support this year. I can recall when BH and Dayton were die-hard rivals. Now go whip PNG and prove to all those Golden Triangle fans that real football is born "West of the Trinty."
