bruno994 Posted February 6, 2011 Report Posted February 6, 2011 Absolutely, but Clark, Hale, Hawthorn and Terrier (Seniors) are going have to lead by example. There are going to be a number of young, inexperienced guys needing to fill some holes, and we have those guys. This district has toughened up quite a bit since Buna entered it 4 years ago. There is no doubt in my mind this squad can make it 5 in a row. Good luck Cougars, Seniors, enjoy the ride!
strosfan Posted February 9, 2011 Report Posted February 9, 2011 I talked about the Walden boys since they moved away glad to have the youngest two back... Richard will be a great asset to our already powerful program... ;D
anonymous_account Posted February 9, 2011 Report Posted February 9, 2011 EC has the best player, but Buna has the best team
BaseballWarrior Posted February 9, 2011 Report Posted February 9, 2011
Hank jones?? ???
If he has a breakout season and EC has a core of players around him, then he could have a chance. You have to have a solid team around you to help you look good. I can't remember the last time the MVP didn't come from the district champs
BHSAlum2008 Posted February 10, 2011 Report Posted February 10, 2011 I don’t think there is any reason to not expect Buna to make it five in a row. They should be the favorite until otherwise is proven. That being said it won’t be easy, good things never are. If Buna’s seniors step up and play Buna baseball I think they will do just fine. Great group of seniors!! Coach Kevin Terrier is a great coach and always seems to get the best out of his guys. Good luck guys!!
Wheel House Posted February 11, 2011 Report Posted February 11, 2011 Tight district. Buna is traditionally good but, I would bet the field on this one. Nothing against Buna, just playing the odds.
