if this is true then kville does have a shot at winning district.... WOS is sopost to be a power house in their district
BaseballWarrior Posted February 10, 2011 Report Posted February 10, 2011 it doesn't necessarily mean that WO-S isn't as good as touted. It's a scrimmage. Coaches are trying to make decisions on players. Also, in scrimmages, your #1, 2, or 3 pitcher aren't going the whole game. Starting lineups only last a couple of innings, which means back-ups are in the game getting chances to perform. Sometimes the subs come through and play well sometimes not. I'd like to know what the game was like when it was Starters vs. Starters, other than that, a final score may be a little skewed
hitman009 Posted February 10, 2011 Report Posted February 10, 2011 true but would like to know what was the score when "starters" were in.... top 3 pitchers had to pitch 2 inn each...
anonymous_account Posted February 10, 2011 Report Posted February 10, 2011 the mustangs were a little rusty. but the pieces are there, they just need some work. the leadership should put them where they want to be this season

anonymous_account Posted February 10, 2011 Report Posted February 10, 2011 who keeps score in a scrimmage
BaseballWarrior Posted February 10, 2011 Report Posted February 10, 2011
who keeps score in a scrimmage
every team.... they know what the score is. It's not a determining factor of a win or loss, but I promise a coach and/or team knows when the opponent scores and how often.

mstngfan07 Posted February 11, 2011 Report Posted February 11, 2011 Actually wos is missing five to basketball right now
queenb77630 Posted February 11, 2011 Report Posted February 11, 2011 I'm sure you guys are talking about Varsity which I did not stay for. JV and Kirbyville tied though. It was not just COLD out there .... it was FREEZING!! Not making excuses for Jessie and his Varsity; but if they did get spanked, I'd like to think that played a part in it.
venom33 Posted February 12, 2011 Report Posted February 12, 2011 kville played in the same weather! i believe it was 3-1 or 4-1 going into the second. there was a 3 run bomb given up in the 1st inning by wos.the stangs will be fine.
