I bet Ben won't agree to those refs again. 1 ref didn't make 1 call against ec. Anahuac had alot of turnovers also. Good luck to everyone in playoffs

Anahuac had the chances at the end to win, but made the costly turnovers. Ec had chances to put the game away and could not make free throws. Refs made bad calls both ways but did not decide the game, neither group of fans were happy. It's BASKETBALL

Now theres a question.I have seen the entire Gulf Coast Chapter scratched in some schools.After a scratch and a reassignment years ago I actually heard the coach and an official that was working the game talk about a dinner get together they had planned for the following weekend.

Heck, I even witnessed an official hug a player and tell him not to worry about foul trouble at halftime of a Kountze game.

Yes, officially, East Chambers has not won an outright district title. They still have to beat Hardin tomorrow night to claim that title. A loss coupled with a Kountze win would have them sharing the title with Kountze.

[/quote]It's been about 5 years since I was down there and it was the Gulf Coast Chapter back then,Coach West really turned that program around.I have seen times when on a hard foul the law got there before the officials did.
