bullets13 Posted February 15, 2011 Report Posted February 15, 2011 Texas 2nd by just one vote! It's just a number, though.
shorttexas1 Posted February 16, 2011 Report Posted February 16, 2011 I am a Texas fan but the rankings are all wrong. It should beOhio statePittTexasWe still have a bad lose (USC). Pitt and OSU don't have any bad loses.

Still, i don't have a real problem with Texas and Pitt being 1,2, or 3 in any order. as far as i'm concerned, they're the two best teams in the country. Texas has some big wins: Illinois, UNC, Mich. St., Kansas, Mizzou, aTm X 2, as well as two very "good" losses, to Pitt by 2 and UCONN by 1 in OT.Pitt has some big wins as well: Texas, UCONN, G-town, Syracuse, and Nova. I'd say overall these two teams have done very well against very difficult schedules.

shorttexas1 Posted February 17, 2011 Report Posted February 17, 2011 Tennessee is not a bad lose, those kids were rolling before Pearls suspension. And they beat Villanova too! UT lost both of its games to the Big EASt. And a 7 point loss to a 15-10 (SEC) team and a 17 point loss to a 13-12 (PAC-10) team are not equal! The SEC has three ranked teams and the PAC-10 has 1 but has had zero for many part of the season!!!! I love my longhorns but the 3 loss Horns should not be ranked above Pitt or OSU! Eventhough I believe they re currently better than both of those teams! Only the tourney will tell!
