STOCKTON, Calif. - The Stockton Thunder announced that its inaugural “Thunder Goes Pink†weekend raised $35,573 for the St. Joseph’s Foundation Mobile Mammography Unit and the American Cancer Society - Stockton Field Office.

Presented by St. Joseph’s Medical Center in association with Pacific Car Wash and Golden Bear Insurance Company, the Thunder used its home games on Nov. 3 and 4 to spotlight breast cancer awareness including special pink giveaways, pink lighting on the concourse and painting the ice surface pink.

The total amount raised included proceeds from ticket and T-shirt sales and fan donations as well as from silent and live auctions, including the postgame auction of specially-designed pink jerseys worn by the Thunder which saw rookie goaltender Devan Dubnyk’s jersey being sold for a team record high bid of $7,000.
