LamarStatesports Posted February 16, 2011 Report Posted February 16, 2011 The Lamar State College-Port Arthur men’s basketball team returns to Jacksonville on Wednesday for a 7 p.m. conference game at Jacksonville College.Lamar State was in the same city Monday, when they lost to Lon Morris College, 52-49, dropping the Seahawks to 17-9 overall and 6-9 in the Region XIV South Zone standings.Jacksonville (19-6, 10-4) won their last five conference games, all by close margins except for an 81-63 drubbing of Bossier Parish Community College, which occupies last place in the North Zone.Lamar State will be home Saturday for a 4 p.m. conference game against Angelina College.
