I haven't posted in a while. Life has been pretty hectic since last Fall. In fact, I had to miss out on most of the high school action due to my "real" job and even had to step away from writing for Dave Campbell's in mid-season. But, I wanted to share an article I just had published in The Father Life magazine. This is not an attempt to toot my own horn or anything but I felt true high school football fans could relate and it does mention Kirbyville so I thought I'd share it. Besides, it's a good magazine for Dads so you may want to check it out anyway. God bless!

Great article.  Brings back my own memories of going to out of town High School games with my Dad back in the late 60's & early 70's to places like High Island, West Hardin and East Chambers.  Those were "big" road trips back in the day!

Thanks for the kind words guys! As for subscribing (ECBucFan) this is an online magazine. It's been around for a few years now. I first found out about it on one of the morning shows (Today/Good Morning America). It's just generally a good read. Not sure if they plan a print edition or not!
