A lot better today, had some bad breaks but the nerves where not there and he pitch better. Making progress. Got his 1st K and his 1st inning pitched. Somebody at work sent a virus to setxsports so they blocked our ip address. Haven't been on in a while. Thanks Patty for the kind words, and your heart will skip a beat when your son is announce on that loud speaker, chills-tears-suspense all in one.
A lot of freshmen doing well at U.T., Augie getting them seasoned for the run. HOOK-EM.
If you didn't know all ready Austin is weird and anything goes, gotta love it, thinking about moving. ;D

Amen, brother. You got that right. Would not trade it for anything. I did a little "tearing up" myself in Monroe this past weekend.
I've got to get to Austin and watch Kirby pitch. BTW, got a small apt. you can rent when you move.....even give you the Horn discount rate.  ;D

I can just picture him in a few years: dread locks, cut-off shorts, hemp shirt, and some birkenstocks. Keep Austin Wierd!

There is a house between Softball and Baseball that they dug up the whole front yard and planted Herbs. The fence was hog wire, the gate was made out of a pallet. They had a large Dog that looked more like a Hunter than a Pet, maybe their source of food. Their Porch had a Hammock and i think that was the Master Bedroom. Of course the doors were wide open in the house, the people there had cutoff blue jeans and tattoos all over their body. Now if your going to go all natural and live by mother nature whats up with all the tat's? Nothing natural about that.
I sleep, it just takes a lot of beer to get me there. A (I.V.) would be better. ;D
Baseball is in Hawaii, Softball in California, and no we didn't go, saving our money to buy Herbs. ::)

Apple Springs’ game against King’s Academy was stopped just minutes before halftime on Thursday night and was not resumed. According to Apple Springs head coach and superintendent Cody Moree, the game was stopped due to safety concerns for the players. “We came out on fire, and we had a takeaway on their first series,” Moree said. “We scored every time we had the ball and built a big enough lead that we thought we might get a 45-point lead before half (which would have ended the game).   “A couple of our players were targeted on some plays that didn’t get called. We had a play where we hit a guy late on a tackle and we got flagged for it. “Players came off their bench and several of their fans came over the fence and there were verbal threats made toward our players.”   At that point, I went to the head official and told him that we were taking our kids off the field for their safety and the game was over.” Moree and his team went into the fieldhouse at that point and remained there until the stadium was cleared. “We didn’t forfeit anything,” Moree said. “I’m proud of our students and how we played and we handled ourselves in that situation.” Apple Springs will host Leverett’s Chapel on Friday.

    • no, no you can not get a better idea when district starts.  they can go 0-4 predistrict and run the house in district because its so weak.
    • anytime there is an article on ktz football saying its on the rise, you can bet the house theyre going to lose the next game!
