NederlandFreak2006 Posted November 6, 2006 Report Posted November 6, 2006 When we make the playoffs who is the team we will probably face and what other teams are going to be the probables in the playoff distance? It's a long question and probably a out of the air question but I'm just wondering what are our chances of going deep in the playoffs. Thanks.
Guest TravelingBandsman Posted November 6, 2006 Report Posted November 6, 2006 Ya'll will go to Div. I considering you make playoffs. In this case, you will face the Div. I team from District 21. Statistically, it will be Galena Park, but the other scenario is you might face New Caney. The expected teams that you'll have to worry about if you make it to the next round is...brace yourself...the winner of the expected Friendswood/Lamar Consolidated first round game.
NederlandFreak2006 Posted November 6, 2006 Author Report Posted November 6, 2006 OUCH! Well that's why the game is played on the field and not on paper. Thanks.
GoDogs27 Posted November 6, 2006 Report Posted November 6, 2006 exactly.. historically, Nederland has always done well being the underdog in the playoffs...
Eagletown Posted November 6, 2006 Report Posted November 6, 2006 Yeah and hysterically they use to be a power house. How bout them dogs!! I got two words for you "BRONCOS, EAGLES"
Guest Nederland Bandit Posted November 6, 2006 Report Posted November 6, 2006 Wait until Central ends BH season in 2 weeks.
Eagletown Posted November 6, 2006 Report Posted November 6, 2006 Wait until Central ends BH season in 2 weeks. Bahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh ha ha ha ha ha ha!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Ok what ever you say K-villeballa..........I mean Nederland Bandit.
WOS92 Posted November 6, 2006 Report Posted November 6, 2006 To be honest, I don't see Nederland making much of a run this year. As a potential 5-5 team, it's weird to see them likely headed for the postseason. They've averaged just over one win per year over the last five years, and this is certainly not one of their stronger teams in that span. The defense appears to be seriously hurting. I can't imagine this being one of those "magical" runs. If they run into Lamar Consolidated, it's over. The fat lady said she's not even coming to the game. She'll listen on the radio.
Pimp Smack Posted November 6, 2006 Report Posted November 6, 2006 nederland still has to get by Lumberton.
baseballfan4life Posted November 6, 2006 Report Posted November 6, 2006 nederland still has to get by Lumberton. That shouldn't be to hard for nederland
Zoneblock Posted November 6, 2006 Report Posted November 6, 2006 I dont think Lumberton will win but there is always a chance. Nederland has benefited from an extremely week 4a district this year. Except for 2 teams the rest of the district teams are all about even.
Guest TravelingBandsman Posted November 6, 2006 Report Posted November 6, 2006 Dayton will have decent run up until Regionals. 1st round is expected to be Crosby, second round is expected to be either Texas City and Terry, and 3rd round will probably be Brenham.
NederlandFreak2006 Posted November 6, 2006 Author Report Posted November 6, 2006 Oh heck yeah. Any team is beatable. Like I said before...that's why you play the game on the field and not on paper. Didn't they lose to somebody already this year? I might be thinking of LaMarque.
Guest Jags Posted November 6, 2006 Report Posted November 6, 2006 5A Houston Lamar beat Brenham in Non district.
NederlandFreak2006 Posted November 6, 2006 Author Report Posted November 6, 2006 Thanks. I knew I wasn't talk crazy talk there.
KFDM COOP Posted November 6, 2006 Report Posted November 6, 2006 I think Nederland will win their first playoff game as well. have to win this Friday first. 8)
NederlandFreak2006 Posted November 7, 2006 Author Report Posted November 7, 2006 I don't think that should be a problem with all the stuff being in the mix, (Senior night. Last game at home. Playoffs on the line. Ect.) yeah, well I've herd that same thing but i also herd that GP is no pushover and that they are pretty good.
