Evadale Lady Rebel Season Reflection

If you look back to October when you all were taking steps to become better you often wondered could you be better than previous teams. Now in February you have answered your own questions. As one of the youngest teams ever at Evadale you have surpassed everyones expectations except your own. Keep reaching for that goal. Work hard in the off season and return to make another run next year.
Congratulations on a tremendous season and all the fans appreciate your hustle style of play and aggressive defense. It is your trademark and you all can be very proud..
There is always work to be done and you know the areas you need to work on to move to the next level.
Conratulations on another district championship and keeping that winning streak alive. ;)

I have been fortunate in my later years to be able to spend a lot of time with sports and teams in particular. I have gotten to know many coaches and players and have made friends with some of the best people I know.  I view sports as a privilege not a right and the faith is restored every year that I meet new players and coaches in this business. I sometimes feel people dont really understand how much time our coaches put in with the kids and how our kids may just get that one little thing that puts them on the right path in life. Coaches do so much more than coach for our kids and I really appreciate their concerns and effort they give. The sports community in all of our area is just loaded with fine people,coaches, and players that it sure makes you proud when you visit other areas of the state and they compliment you on your program. We not just Evadale are so respected in other parts of the state that all of us should never do anything to tarnish that image. So my hat is off to all in our area for the great respect you show to the coaches, players and visitors who come to our area for competition. We wish our closest neighbors(Ozen and Zavalla) continued success in the playoffs. To all who post scores and info on the teams thanks for your involvement.
