Response to im on fire above.

..  ;) .. One must be careful in the use of metaphors as, on occasion, they do not convey the message that was intended.  For instance the expression, "Teams over par."  We all know that par (or paaar, as the Aussies pronounce it) is a word commonly associated with the wonderful game of golf.  Par in golf is the measure of excellence.  The more over par your are, the more you are moving away from excellence.  On the other hand, to be under par in golf is to exceed excellence.  The correct answer to your question then, is, "Most of the teams that Silsbee has faced so far this year are over par."

( ;D ;D ;D Slow news day this Friday afternoon; should be at the golf course.  Just funnin' wid' cha.)  ;D ;D ;D

Silsbee 14 Kountze 5

Silsbee   108 203  14 13 2
Kountze  140 000   5  5  5

Colby Jenkins started this game for Silsbee pitching two innings giving up four hits, and five runs with two Ks and three BBs. One hit was a three run bomb that rattled the score board hit by Colby. Jenkins redeemed himself the next inning by hitting a two run shot and going 2-4. Clint Scoggins for Silsbee came in the third and held Kountze scoreless the next three inning giving up one hit, with nine Ks and three BBs. Michael Simmons for Silsbee pitch the last inning giving up no hits with one K and one BB. Silsbee started pounding the ball in the third inning including another homerun hit by Gore (Fr) this being a two run shot. Lance Brown led the Tigers attack at the plate hitting 3-4 with four RBIs. Kountze pitchers started strong in the first two innings giving up one run striking out three batters. I'll have complete stats coming up. Next up for the Tigers is the championship game against Hardin, tomorrow @ 2:00pm. Go Tigers!!!
