But, if you think either one of those teams is better than the Dogs right now, you haven't seen them all play. The Dogs played against good 5A teams this weekend and did great.

1696dogs Posted February 27, 2011 Report Posted February 27, 2011 I have to agree edog. Ned always steps it up a notch to play in the bigger 5A tourneys. I think playing this level baseball during tourneys helps us to compete at such a high level in dist. But I do believe PNG and Vidor will be good this year as always. That Vidor coach knows his stuff!!

Seem to have some talent but it's hard to overlook a rough showing at the Vidor tournament (although they did beat a pretty solid Vidor team). Not worthy of a top 5 consideration at this moment IMO, but they do seem to have some talent and the season is far from over.
