Cleveland is the better team and they have better athletes.  The problem is HJ has a better coach, HJ is a more disciplined team, and HJ is a smarter team.  I don't mean smart in the IQ sense, i mean smart in the basketball sense.  The last two years, Cleveland was winning the game and when it came down to the end, they made stupid mistakes.  When HJ was able to score and apply pressure, Cleveland folded up.  They failed to play smart ball and threw up on themselves.

I think I like this one the most.  Especially the part about throwing up on themselves.  Must have happened again tonight.  Roll on Hawks.

How was that broadcast Scooter? ;D ;D

Sounded like Cousins Bubba and Jethro,  good ol' redneck basketball!!  ;D ;D Great win for the Hawks,  rough start and then never looking back.  Mexia looks tough but I believe 21-3A will be in Austin once again.  Too bad it won't be the same fun in Huntsville this year.

I don't think HJ will be able to hang with Cleveland for 4 quarters

Cleveland - 78
HJ - 67

I think the same thing ;)

Still, I hope HJ plays a good game

So what day & time will they play in Huntsville & how do I get tickets?
Tomorrow, Thursday at 6:15 p.m. at SHSU Johnson Coliseum.  Playing Mexia.

One way to get a ticket is to buy it at the gate.  Plenty of seats.  No chance of a sell-out.

The game is Friday, not Thursday.
I don't know about you, but that's the way I've looked at HJ this year.  Very good team this year, but ranked 5th out of the last 5 teams.

With that in mind, I can understand why other guys underestimated us.  Which makes it all the more fun to beat teams like Cleveland.  It wouldn't be half as fun if HJ went into the game 15 points favorites.

Just saw where Sealy snuck by Navasota, hope the Hawks can meet them in the regional finals.  It would be interesting to see how that one plays out.  Dallas Madison got knocked out by Dallas Smith tonight.

Dallas Smith was the 3rd place team from Dallas Madison's District!!!!!! :o :o :o
Why is that?  I listened over the radio.  Did the coach do a poor job or are the fans looking for a scapegoat.

I always knew this group had a huge upside....yes i have seen them play bad early and midway....but I always knew they were capable...I was just poking fun at dogs a little bit quoting him from a while back...
