Michele Posted February 28, 2011 Report Posted February 28, 2011 lets hear your thoughts on this matchup ...... Go Dogs
Puma42 Posted February 28, 2011 Report Posted February 28, 2011 Humble is a threat to eliminate Nederland on Wednesday, but if Nederland can play a whole 4 quarters instead of a first half they will win.Nederland - 78Humble - 69
Michele Posted February 28, 2011 Author Report Posted February 28, 2011 I agree .... Humble's Hill will be a threat I am hearing. We contain him we stand a good chance of getting the win.Nederland 68Humble 60
BMTSoulja1 Posted February 28, 2011 Report Posted February 28, 2011 I'm rooting for Big Ned, but I'm afraid the great season will come to an end. Wildcats - 85Bulldogs - 71
mckinney Posted February 28, 2011 Report Posted February 28, 2011 :o I don't know anything about Humble, just cheering on the hometown team!! NEDERLAND ;D

Honest Abe Posted February 28, 2011 Report Posted February 28, 2011 These two teams are evenly matched. Nederland has three bigs to Humble's one big. Humble's guards can create AND shoot. Nederland is longer, Humble is quicker. This game will go down to the wire and will be won at the FT line.Nederland 66Humble 61
BMTSoulja1 Posted February 28, 2011 Report Posted February 28, 2011 I have honestly not seen them play this year. But I do have a contact that have seen them play on multiple occasions and say they are good enough to rival G-Ball in this region. States that they are very good.
NHS83LU87 Posted February 28, 2011 Report Posted February 28, 2011 Looking at the roster for Humble....Nederland will have the size advantage....Forney, Smith, Weisbrod, Pitts, and Killian, need to blockout better and control the boards. Depth will be in Nederland's favor. If you look Humble's stats at Max-Preps it appears Humble relies has 2 main players and can't afford for either to have an off night.

Where I think Nederland can win this game is from their deep bench. If someone is cold for Nederland, they have plenty of fire power coming off the bench who can light it up. I didn't see much depth for Humble.
Panther Recon Posted February 28, 2011 Report Posted February 28, 2011 Their bench is definitely not deep. Thier three main guys can go. Their two guards are very good and the big man is incredible down low, and just a junior. Haven't seen Nederland play this year or even heard about what kind of team they have, but I have seen Humble play on multiple ocassions.
CThoops Posted February 28, 2011 Report Posted February 28, 2011 They got a guard that can light it up, and a post guy that is capable of stepping away from the basket. If K-smith can stay on the court AND Cunningham gets his game started early, the Dogs win.
Melancrater Posted February 28, 2011 Report Posted February 28, 2011 anybody know if the game is at deer park high school's north or south campus?
ForeverADog Posted March 1, 2011 Report Posted March 1, 2011 Dogs by 6. Coaching being the difference.
cornhusker Posted March 1, 2011 Report Posted March 1, 2011 Get the Dogs pumped up Coach English. Strong bench keeps the Dogs going onto the fourth round.
Michele Posted March 1, 2011 Author Report Posted March 1, 2011 I wish the best of luck to our DOGS this Wednesday night. Stay hungry and keep the next round in your sights.

I think Humble won by 10, and Nederland won by 6??
InTheGates Posted March 2, 2011 Report Posted March 2, 2011 If Nederland can slow the pace of the two guards that shoot the ball well I think they WIN the game by 10....The big kid from Humble is nice but I do think Nederlands depth at the position will fill that void....I think Humble will try and stop Cunningham and hope for the best against Smith/Forney...Should be a great game...I B DER!
