whsalum Posted March 1, 2011 Report Posted March 1, 2011 With the basketball playoffs be pushed back to Wednesday and Thursday due to a conflict with the TAKS test why in the world can they play softball or baseball on these same nights?What am I missing here ????
whsalum Posted March 1, 2011 Author Report Posted March 1, 2011 I really don't know ST413, it dawned on me tonite on the way home from a softball game.Afew years back the Taks test and the basketball playoffs conflicted in the first round and most games were local.They still had to be played on Wednesday so I'm not sure what's goin on with this.
AggiesAreWe Posted March 1, 2011 Report Posted March 1, 2011 Because the UIL dictates the playoff scheduling.Schools dictate the regular season scheduling as long as it doesn't violate the UIL rules of games played in a week.
