hj1 Posted March 3, 2011 Report Posted March 3, 2011 Should be a great game! IMO, this will be Hj's toughest test yet.
Lazeek Posted March 3, 2011 Author Report Posted March 3, 2011 Mexia from what I have seen on video reminds me of Silsbee. They really only have 2 players over 6 foot, but are quick and athletic. It appears they do not have the depth of Silsbee, which is a good thing. Should be a really good game!!!!

sleepy Posted March 3, 2011 Report Posted March 3, 2011 One thing you don't have to worry about HJ doing is sleeping on anyone. They may very well get beat but it won't be because they were not prepared and felt challenged.

I want HJ in Austin repping 21-3A and keep the streak alive of 21-3A teams in Austin. I certainly do not wish for Mexia to win this game. Yes, I am good friends with a coach there, but I have more and just as close friends(at least I think I do ;)) at HJ.

My comment was not pointed at the players or coaches of HJ, just maybe a few fans. ;)The "don't sleep on Mexia" is an inside joke from Mexia. ;) ;D
Lazeek Posted March 3, 2011 Author Report Posted March 3, 2011 I can assure you that HJ will be focused and ready to play Mexia..........not Athens or Sealy on Friday night!!! ;) ;)
PoppaBearstarr Posted March 3, 2011 Report Posted March 3, 2011 I have a ?......who is rob and who is is big......LMAO, I know I'm big, JK I know who it is I'm freakin ready for some Hawks Basketball,,,,,,Might want to turn the sound down on the broadcast for the next one...
Lazeek Posted March 3, 2011 Author Report Posted March 3, 2011 I was told by one of the HJ sponsors (Mike Roby---Mike Roby Insurance Agency) that we should go by Rob and Big. That is some show on MTV!!!!!
PoppaBearstarr Posted March 4, 2011 Report Posted March 4, 2011 Works for me.....I will roll with it, for one of our sponsor's..... ;D

HJ was flat, one of their flattest games of the year (except, of course, for the Nederland game). But remember, a week ago Cleveland "made a statement" with a blowout of 40 points against who, Coldspring? The funny thing about those blowouts is, the next game still starts at 0-0.Hawks, it's time to soar, Baby!!!!

I wasn't sure, which is why I asked. But that is irrelevant, the Cleveland fans used that to show HJ what was going to happen to our team, but it didn't faze us in the least. I'm sure the Hawks will be just as unflappable regarding the Mexia/Hudson score.

BADSANTA Posted March 4, 2011 Report Posted March 4, 2011 Ok English teacher. Hawks easily beat Mexia by 20! Mexia is very overrated. Their schedule was softer than wet toilet paper. One win vs Crockett doesn't tell the entire story.
