adminbaberuth Posted March 5, 2011 Report Posted March 5, 2011 The hot corner. The defensive spot that never gets the true hop. Has to take many off the chest, must have a strong arm. Since a corner guy, big rbi. producer.Who's the best in the area?
Dog4Life Posted March 5, 2011 Report Posted March 5, 2011 From what ive seen so far, Dillan Duplant (Ned) is the best around. True short stop converted to 3rd for the year. Kid swings a mean stick as well, and he's only a soph. Look for big things from him this year and years to come.

May be a little out of the area, but since he is in 3A-18 with Jasper and Kirbyville he deserves a mention is Matt Smith at Diboll. Great glove, zero errors thru 9 games. Strong arm across the diamond. .300 plus batting average, .500 plus OBP.

Bear Country Posted March 10, 2011 Report Posted March 10, 2011 LCM as a good first year 3rd baseman.. Names Jonathan Allen. Great kid, puts his nose in every play, wants the ball, and also swings a mean stick..
