From what I heard, their JV team was really really good. Weisbrod has a season of Varsity play under his belt and some of the JV players from last year step up they will be fine. I'm not sure if they will be the team to beat but IMO they will be in the top 2 in district, especially if they have the depth that they had this past season again.

Tough to repeat next year.. Central and Ozen are going to be really good with the youth they will have on their rosters.. I still see no less than 3rd in district for Bid Ned

We'll have a young (but talented) team for sure. Fontenot will probably be the only senior starting next year. English and Weisbrod will start too, leaving two positions up for grabs. IMO-Jameer and Jared are prob the other two who are likely to win the other two spots. Of course it also depends on who grows and develops between now and then-and who WANTS it! My biggest concern for the future is lack of height. Hopefully one of these kids will grow a few inches over the summer.

They have a few kids with a little bit of size on the younger levels, but i dont know if they are ready for 7:30 yet.. Nederland will defiantly have solid play in the backcourt next year and Weisbrod will be even better, which will make us a solid team for this area.

I agree that Jared and Jamiere will get the start along with Zach, Colten, and Trent.. I think we also see a few other sophomores playing on varsity like Kimler and possibly Tune if he comes back over to Nederland..

A lot of questions though about the exact number of kids English will put on varsity

Some of our kids will be young and still developing but who better to develop them than 2011 Coach of the Year Brian English.  Congratulations Coach English!!!!
