Santa- Its too difficult for me to project a SETX player of the year, but there is no doubt in my mind that YOU are the SETX Poster of the year!!

Kelvin Smith from Nederland and Shawn Prudhomme from HJ would be my top two!!!!  

My opinion is what they did for their team during the regular season as well as in the playoffs.  I know that Prudhomme averaged 25 plus points per game during the playoffs in leading the Hawks to wins over Huffman, Stafford and Cleveland.

Not winning a playoff game isn't  the faultof one player. He still didn't have his best game but did still had good numbers.

I am with you......dont get me wrong, DC was the best player in SE Texas all year!!!  I saw it first hand twice this year!!!  But as the player of the year you have to take into consideration the regular season and the playoffs.  Not saying he did not do his part in the playoff game, but it really hurt his cred with some people to not win at least one playoff game.

way to put it zeek. it all depends on what you are all taking into consideration. if you go by regular season stallworth is hands down player of the year. but if u put the playoffs into consideration he want win it for the simple fact that he and his team didnt win a single playoff game. if u ask me prudhomme will win it if u go by both. ande besides. ITS ONLY AN MADE UP AWARD SO WHO REALLY CARES  8) ;D 8)

Personally, I think the little pg from HJ made the difference on that team, Gustafson (sp?). Maybe his name should be put in the pot. No one really expected HJ to go anywhere (other than their own fans  ::)
